Brandon Klingerman is responsible for writing the entirety of Hammurabi's Code. The very concept of "an eye for an eye" comes from him replacing a blind man's eyes with another working set, and then used the blind eyes in an experiment which caused all humans worldwide to begin seeing color. The initial meaning for the phrase was a miraculous act of charity, but the meaning changed after the first draft of Hammurabi's Code included hand removal as a punishment for thievery. Even today, "an eye for an eye" is a widely used phrase, and we have Brandon Klingerman to thank.
